Jungle on the riverbank

A spectacular setting with seasonal colors, this beautiful jungle of vines grows on the West Sacramento River Bank on South River Road. Newspaper accounts from the old days say this jungle extended all the way up the river to the I Street Bridge and was the habitat of many sterno-crazed hobos. Photo by Barbara.

  2. It reminds me a little of the lovely moss that grows so wild in the live oak trees of New Orleans. God Bless New Orleans!

  3. It looks like some kind of canvas. Such a nice color palette!
