Magical Realism--is the term used to describe Gabriel Garcia Marquez writing style. I just finished Love In The Time of Cholera and decided to use a photo of the book for my theme day.

I adore this book and One Hundred Years of Solitude. I'm currently reading Marquez autobiography Living to Tell the Tale. A truly great wondrous magical writer. Thanks for the post. Lovely photograph.
I like the simple, direct photo you posted.
I enjoyed this book but my favorites of his are 100 Yrs of Solitude and The Story of a Shipwrecked Sailor (which is just excellent). I tried reading his last (Memories of My...) in Spanish & got nowhere. It's not for someone with just a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish.
