This photo of Buddy looking out over Glacier Bay was taken from the top deck of Holland's American's Amsterdam during our cruise to Alaska last week. The crew served everyone piping hot cups of Snert-Dutch Pea Soup while viewing the glacier. It was a remarkable experience and I really recommend a cruise vacation (especially to Alaska) if you're needing some R&R!

Did you get some of that famous Holland America bread pudding? I love that! I also recommend, if anyone hasn't done it, a land/cruise tour. The last time we went to Alaska, we flew to Fairbanks and stayed there and in two other lodges with views of Mt. McKinley and travelled by train to our ship for a seven-day cruise to Vancouver. It was wonderful! Glacier Bay is spectacular. We did that particular cruise on Princess.
Not been to Alaska but have been to Greenland which was wonderful.
