Mark and Belva Brown have managed and owned the local KFC franchise on West Acre Road for many years. These photos and awards now hang in the lobby as a testimony to their history with the company. Christy worked the kitchen and counter at KFC in the early 80's and the Brown's were her managers way back then.

That was our very first restaurant. After attending UC Davis I acquired Co-Ownership with my new wife Belva of the KFC restaurant late in 1977, in West Sacramento. Somehow doing a search on Google for something else I came across this site. We retired in 2004 being KFC/TacoBell franchisees. But have fond memories of West Sacramento and vividly remember Christy Norton who worked with us back then. I remember years ago while visiting family in California seeing Christy at Grebitus Jewelers on Howe ave. Always enjoyed her humor and energy.
