This stained-glass window is located at the Arthur F. Turner library. It was installed when the library opened in the 70's and was designed by local artist Betty Sokolich, who also did the stained glass at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Betty is currently showing watercolors in the library conference room, as well. Photo by Christy.

It's very colourful, and the design although quite modern belies the skill and craft employed in the manufacturing.

Betty Sokolich was my filmmaking teacher at Del Campo High School in the 70s! What's she doing now? Would love to get in touch with her and say hi.
