"The West Sacramento Fire Department, in conjunction with the West Sacramento Firefighter’s Association, made their annual “Santa Run” through neighborhoods in West Sacramento this week. With the help of many off-duty firefighter “elves,” Santa rode on an elaborately decorated fire truck “sleigh”, handing out candy canes and collecting donated canned goods".

What a wonderful thing to do for the community. Firefighters are just great people. They put their safety on the line to help others then use their off-duty time for events like this.
The firefighters have been doing this since I was a little girl and I still look forward to it each year. Last night was extra special with my 5 year old and 1 year old so excited as Santa drove by our house!
How neat - good on the fire brigade!! i guess they are in a good position too if the lights burst into flames!!!
That is so neat! Love it!
