Please help find Kim's dog Chico- 4 lb. Chihuahua, male and he has a blue colar with two tag (silver and yellow). Last seen on Martinique and Mashall on Friday 11/13. If you have seen him please call 531-9710.
This information won't help find Chico, but about noon last Wednesday, Nov 11, I was traveling north on Jefferson, and up the ramp to Hwy 50/80 when this dog (99% sure) came DOWN the ramp, in a panic, and ran right into the big intersection of Jefferson and the freeway on/off ramps. Cars swerved, and missed him. We were already onto the ramp, and no way to turn around and go back. When we returned about 3:30 I looked left and right all the way to Touchstone, but never saw him again.
Dedicated to preserving a bit of history while enjoying the present in our community. I have lived in West Sacramento since 1958; long before it was incorporated as a city that consolidated the three townships of Broderick, Bryte and West Sacramento. My father-in-law, Frank Norton, was born in Broderick in 1910 in a house at 421 B Street. The West Sacramento Photo of the Day website is dedicated to him-- in memory of his magnificent stories of the old days.
If you are interested in submitting a photo, would like to use one of our photos or want more information about our "triv-history" project, please contact editrixes Barbara , Debbie or Christy.
