Anna's Hummingbird Nest


Thank you Anneke Moresco, wildlife veterinarian at UC Davis, for sharing this great photo. "One of my patients. Anna's Hummingbird nests are made out of spiderwebs, feathers and lichen. They stretch as the babies grow, this way there is always a snug but not too tight fit (this one is missing a sibling). The ultimate one-size fits all."
