They heard a noise...a rustling and scratching sound during the night...hearing it again the next night they had the camera ready...a baby possum was visiting their backyard.

Possum is cute...but check out those lemons! (limes?) Bounty!
I'm really glad this wasn't a picture of roadkill. This may be the first time I've seen a live opossum in West Sac.
I have seen many possum in West Sacramento and we have pulled them out of our swimming pool before. My dog broke his leg trying to reach one on our back fence.
