On the curve at 6th and C Streets in Broderick is the old Westside Bar and Grill --now closed and for sale.
Trivia: Years ago there was a bar/restaurant in this same location called the Venetian.

Too bad about the closing. It looks like a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal and a drink. Hope it was not your favorite place that closed up.
When this place was The Venetian, my uncle always called it "The Vatican" and spent some good times there with his buddies.
What was once the Venetian then Westside Bar and Grill is now Jazzy Blues Cafe' - great live entertainment on Fri and Sat nights; call ahead to assure a seat in main seating area. If not, just come in and have a seat in the lounge. Great American food with a touch of southern style Barbeque and other mouth watering dishes the baby boomers grew to love. Ad music from the 50's 60's 70's and you have what is called a great evening out. Check their web site www.jazzybluescafe.com for more details. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - (Monday, Tue & Wed available for private parties or meetings).
