Jemima Hall provided the above photos that were taken during her trip to visit Alaminos, and the 100 Islands National Park.~ Barbara
On January 15th, 2003, the West Sacramento City Council adopted Resolution 03-2 establishing a Sister City relationship with the city of Alaminos, Republic of the Philippines. This was done in response to the City Council of Alaminos Resolution No. 2002-130, which initiated a request for such a relationship. The relationship was formalized with the signing of a Sister City Agreement which was hand-delivered by West Sacramento City Council Member Mark Montemayor during his trip to the Philippines during late January 2003. One of the elements of the Agreement was to link web pages to inform the citizenry about each other's city.

Wow Barbara, Jemima's photos of the bus and boat are wonderful! I've heard that the 100 Islands area is lovely, but have never laid eyes on any of it until these photos. We have a relative living on one of the islands that we hope to visit someday. I hope West Sac and Alaminos enjoy their sisterhood!
