I had to take a second look when I saw a Mardi Gras flag flying over a home in West Sacramento this week. I think the residents are sending a message of strength and hope to the people in Louisiana and the Gulf States in dealing with the ecological disaster off their shores.

yummy! I'd love one right now...But you know the world record still stands with Anita E. (they say she drank 19)!
I'm totally into flags. At one point in our life, I would fly three at the same time. American, Californian, and Irish. Matthew came home one day from high school and said "our house looks like a friggin embassy". I'd love the one they are flying. What a great way to support efforts to clean up that mess.
I love that house. Upstairs studio, etc. Wish I could afford one!
