When I was a kid in the late 70's/early 80's this building was a favorite destination spot to kill time. It wasn't abandoned, but there was never anyone around on weekends and it was easy to get in to. The main reason we went there was so we could ride our bike full speed into a pile of rice hulls which would flip you over the handle bars to land softly in the sweet tasting/dusty hulls.

My grandfather retired from there in the 80s. He worked most of life there. I remember you could hear the lunch whistle all over town.
