Remembering Luanne the Face Painter

Today I was remembering a Funderland outing with our friends the Linkers.  Their grandaughter Keira loves to have her face painted and she was a regular customer there.  Luanne was the very sweet women who painted the faces of many children and she passed away July 13, 2011.  Funderland has a memorial on their website for Luanne.

Olga and Irene at Emma's Taco House

My dear friend Maureen and I had lunch at Emma's Taco House today! It is always a hard decision on what to order because I absolutely love the soup and salad (especially their salad dressing), the tacos, enchiladas, burritos - oi vey...and of course the chips, salsa and Margaritas! Many thanks to Olga and Irene for taking such good care of us today!

Happy New Year 2012

The kids helped celebrate the welcoming of 2012 on London Time which is 8 hours before California. The last two years our family and friends have gathered at the Streets of London Pub in West Sacramento to have lunch, drink a pint or two then enjoy a champagne toast at Midnight London time (4:00 PM California). The Streets of London is a family friendly establishment.

Remembering Nicholas Green
