Haunted Bungalow

This house in Old Broderick is ready for Trick or Treat Night. Photo by Barbara

The practice of dressing up in costumes and begging door to door for treats on holidays goes back to the Middle Ages. Trick-or-treating originated in the British Isles, and is still popular in Ireland, and in some parts of England and Scotland.

Looks like a place I'd want to go for a treat! I wonder if their children helped with the decorations.

I love it when people go all out for Halloween, and this house looks really fun! I'd like to be their neighbor!

Barbara, I just love your pix of "Old West Sacramento", especially with Halloween as the theme. Your fellow WOTM, L. (think Vet school connection, Charlie's daughter's other half).
