4th of July fireworks celebrations will be canceled in many areas due to the fire conditions in California and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has asked Californians to refrain from buying personal fireworks this year. With the price of gas being so expensive, I expect many folks will also refrain from travel. ~Barbara

Debbie's Hibiscus plants are so lovely - every year, when the summer is over and the plants die off she cuts them back to nothing, to just sticks in the ground. It's hard to believe that the flourish into these GIANT plants with amazing blooms every summer!
