What I want to know is, is there a microwave in this research lab? And speaking of radiation, too bad there isn't a Berkeley Daily Photo blog out there. If I was still in Berkeley, I'd have posted a picture of the "No Nukes" sign that great people as they enter the city!

Great photo and Happy Theme Day!

Funny that dc confidential is also from Berkeley, but I had to come to your WSac blog to find that out!

My mom worked at the Rad Lab (Lawrence Livermore Labs) back in the 60s, and someone mailed a package of isotopes that ended up on her desk. She opened it, realized what it was, then spent the rest of the day with people holding giger counters over her. She's still okay far as we know.

At UCSF where I used to work, space was at such a premium that some people's labs consisted of a converted closet space with a safety shower outside it. It was crazy. I imagine Davis is a fun place to work!
Happy theme day,
