The mantis was sunning himself on the wall next to our Starbucks drive-thru window. He obviously was enjoying the long shadow he was casting, because they said he had been there for several hours!

I don't know much about the creatures, but that's how I find, them, too, just statue-like on walls of houses and buildings.
