This photo of the railroad bridge over the American River was taken while we traveled north on State Route 160, the North Sacramento Freeway. The American River Parkway has recently been in the news since a huge tent city was erected by the homeless. A feature story on Oprah and network news made more people aware of the plight of these people in Sacramento.

Nice setting, love how the bridge reaches to the clouds.
Love the muted colors and the way the water looks almost totally calm. It also appears there may have been a few drops of rain?
