The West Sac Run/Walk Group is Shamrock'n. The annual Shamrock'n Half Marathon & 2-Person Relay, features flat, fast courses with scenic Sacramento River views and a great finish on Raley Field. Thanks to Matthew Hargrove for sharing this photo.

HI, I was wondering if you could tell me what the weather is like in Sacramento? Are the winters harsh? I was looking into living there, and just wondering. :) Also, what are some good sights to see?

Just to clarify, the Shamrock n is a GREAT race but it's no longer a 5k. It's just a half marathon and half marathon relay.

Oh my gosh! I've been following your blog in my google reader for ages now, and hey... My mom is in that picture!! It was her first half-marathon and I'm incredibly proud of her. :) How very cool to see the pic here!
