The Art-Science Fusion Program at UCD produced the "Tree of Life" mural for the Arboretum restroom building's east wall in 2006. The arboretum's oak education project also calls for another ceramic mosaic mural to be installed on the South wall, depicting the fauna and flora of a California oak woodland ecosystem.
